Pycnogenol is a trade name for proanthocyanidin bioflavonols which are derived from pine bark. The NSP product (renamed "Grapine") used proanthocyanidin extracts from both grape seed and white pine bark. Use 1 mg per pound of body weight. The "with protectors" product replaces SynerPro Protectors. Pycnogenol is 50 times more powerful than Vitamin E as an antioxidant. It can replace Vitamin C as a preventative for scurvy and can cross the blood-brain barrier. Pycnogenol strengthens connective tissues including blood vessels and capillaries to prevent bruising, for instance. Cancer is a seriously advanced degenerative condition. Do not try to treat cancer by yourself with only preventative nutrients. Contains proanthocyanidin complex. The protectors products adds vitamin C in a blend of broccoli, cabbage, watercress, Chinese cabbage, turmeric, rosemary, carrot, tomato and citrus Bioflavonoids.
