A woman I know told me about her dog who had a persistent problem with mucous coming out of the dog's eye. The vet advised the woman that if it persisted, to come back and he would put the dog on antibiotics. This woman began a regimen of supplements and has reported the results.
The woman gave the dog 1 drop of Pau d'Arco mixed with 1/2 capsules of garlic oil, in addition to 1/2 a capsule of chlorophyll. Within a week the oozing that had been coming out from the eye was gone. The eye is now fully opened and the dog appears to have more energy. The woman maintains the dog on Juice Plus for dogs and adds the garlic every now and then.

Brenda Generali, President of Joyful Living Services and this website, owns a 9-1/2 year old dog named Coco. Coco is a Chesapeake Bay retriever. These dogs are known to have inherent joint and retinal difficulties. Approximately 1 year ago Coco began developing problems with her ankles and hips. Brenda noticed that Coco was not able to play ball for extended periods of time as she previously was and began giving her the Nature's Sunshine products JNT-A and Glucosamine Sulfate daily. Brenda gave Coco 3 capsules of JNT-A and 2 tablets of Glucosamine Sulfate per day. Within several weeks Coco was able to run and play ball again without limping.
Lately Coco has developed "Retinal Deterioration". The vet informed Brenda that this is due to old age and heridity. Brenda has decided to work alternatively with Coco and has been giving Coco 3 capsules of EW and 3 capsules of Eyebright Plus w/Lutein per day. Brenda is anxious to see how Coco's retina heals. She will be returning to the vet in 3 months to determine Coco's progress.
