Studies have shown that men who live in countries in which soy is a regular dietary feature experience an optimal level of health. Nature's Sunshine's Phyto-Soy utilizes a standardized, powdered soy extract to provide a high level of isoflavonoids, genistein in particular. Isoflavonoids are a class of phytonutrients linked to the positive attributes of soy-based foods.
Recent scientific studies have isolated genistein as perhaps the most important of all the isoflavonoids. Nine capsules daily supply 36 mg of isoflavonoids, 23 mg of which are genistein.
