I have had digestive trouble all my life including hypoglycemia. I come from a family which has a history of diabetes and digestive problems. My mother died from diabetes and my uncle from liver cancer. The last few years I have had food cravings especially sweets. I often overeat but did not feel like the food was being processed into energy and felt tired constantly. Consequently, I was gaining weight although I have not normally been a heavy person.
