2026 Certified Health & Nutrition Counselor Online Class

Brenda Generali of Joyful Living Services and Beverly Sevilla of Grateful Living Services will be teaching you how to become a Certified Health and Nutrition Counselor on Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning October 6th from 5-7 PM PST.
The science of nutrition is the study of the nutrients in food and the body’s handing of these nutrients. You are made entirely of what you have eaten. Your skin, which has reliably covered you from the time you were born, is not the same skin that covered you seven years ago, it is made entirely of new cells. The fat beneath your skin is not the same fat that was there a year ago. Your oldest red blood cell is only 120 days old, and the entire lining of your digestive tract is renewed every three days. To maintain your “self”, you must continually replenish the energy you burn and replace the cells you lose. This course is designed to teach you about proper nutrition and the role it plays in your health and the health of others.
This course is approved as a Continuing Education Credit (CEC) course by the Board of Registered Nursing, BRN#13857
Each session will be recorded so if you are not available, you can watch the recordings. You can watch the recordings as many times as you wish and you can even come in over zoom, and watch the recordings. We are flexible as to what you want and need.
If you attend over zoom, the class will run every Tuesday and Thursday night at 5 PM PST beginning October 6th through November 3rd. You will be able to access the quizzes, power points, and recordings through our student portal.
There will be a PowerPoint presentation for each session and recipes available.
We will have a free health and nutrition study group that you can sign up for to help you continue to learn which is a huge bonus.
You are welcome to take this class for fun, for a Certificate of Attendance, or for Certification as a Certified Health and Nutrition Counselor through us. This course is approved by the Board of Registered Nursing and carries a BRN number. You will be able to put the CHNC after your name once you have passed the quizzes and the final exam if you wish to create a business or add to an existing business.
The class is unlimited over Zoom. RSVP required. Fill out the form below to attend.
Requirements for certificate are to pass the quiz for each session and to pass the final exam at the end of the class. You can go at your own speed if you wish.
