
In normal circumstances yeast are present in every human being and even in the environment. When our immune system is strong and healthy they live in harmony inside of us without harming us. There are approximately 1,500 species of yeast however, candida albican is one of them. The reason why it's becoming a crises and frequent it's because it has developed resistance to conventional treatment. Candida can affect your mood, your physical well being and even cause you trouble sleeping.
Once candida overgrows it is called "Candida overgrowth" or Candidiasis and it is always bad news. In common language this is what we call "yeast infection"! Some of the factors that contribute to candida overgrowth are:
- Poor nutrition: We are an overly fed nation but starving inside. Why? Because we consume things that feed all the bad bugs and kill the good ones. With poor nutrition comes poor nutrients and soon starvation.

- Other causes: For women: It could be hormonal change due to birth controls pills ingested for months or years. It might also be caused by poor acid balance due to the frequent use of douche, synthetic fabrics, soaps, and even some tampons. For men: Who think they can't get yeast infections it can be caused by many factors from viruses, to bacterial infections. Poor hygiene due to non-circumcision, harsh soaps etc. Other contributors to Candida can be disease or circumstances that damages the immune system such as: HIV, liver problems, diabetes, hypothyroidism, chemotherapy and so on. It can also grow in the mouth and other organs.
